Biography

Kimberly Stubbs is currently an Instructional Assistant Professor in the Department of Engineering Education within the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering at the University of Florida. She holds a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from the University of Florida (UF). Before this, she collected both a master’s and bachelor’s degree from UF in mechanical engineering while also earning an associate of arts degree from St. John’s River State College.

In her current role with EED, she teaches and supervises undergraduate students as they develop new skills in the MATLAB coding environment using an experiential learning-based flipped course format. She is also a faculty mentor of an Integrated Product and Process Design (IPPD) team that is sponsored by Pinecrest Gardens for the development of an animatronic interactive display.
