Andrea Ramirez Salgado is an instructional assistant professor in the Department of Engineering Education at the University of Florida Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering. With degrees in Computer Science Engineering and Educational Technologies, she strives to create meaningful and engaging learning experiences for all students, including those with diverse learning needs. She has over 15 years of experience teaching in higher education, including courses on artificial intelligence, data science, algorithms, data structures, software engineering, and educational technologies. She is currently part of an NSF-funded grant team developing hands-on, gamified, and equity-based AI curricula.
