The UF EDGE program operates three distance learning classrooms and recording studios, all located in the New Engineering Building. These facilities are designed to support high-quality course delivery for both in-person and online learners.
Features of Each Studio
- High-definition cameras: Three remote-controlled pan/tilt cameras capture both the instructor and the content written on the chalkboards.
- Instructor workstation: Equipped with a PC and touchscreen, document camera, wireless microphone, and an interactive wall-mounted display for dynamic teaching.
- Control room support: Each classroom includes a dedicated control room where trained staff manage recording equipment and camera operations to ensure professional-quality course delivery.
